“I am proud to be associated with RCiR. We serve veterans from any service and those with any barrier to the sport of rowing, at no cost to them. Our volunteers have the privilege of offering our support and community and a place on the water.

I always look forward to our next row. You anticipate that “giving back” will feel good. The part I did not expect was how much I would get in return and how much I would learn from our participants.

Not only does the powerful river we row on humble us but so do those we serve with the impact rowing has on them.“
