Rochester Community Inclusive Rowing (RCiR) is a charitable 501(c)3 organization focused on leveraging the world caliber rowing venues of Rochester, NY (The Genesee River and the Erie Canal) and distributing proceeds back into the rowing community to further promote the life long sport of rowing. Our regattas are staffed by volunteers from area rowing programs and focused on delivering world class rowing experiences for all.
Additionally, RCiR works to create inclusive opportunities in the sport of rowing in the greater Rochester are by developing and delivering programs in rowing instruction and adaptive equipment to people with barriers to the sport.
Remember that you can choose to designate your club to benefit from your volunteering hours this year or designate RCiR as your beneficiary.
As of September, 2015 Rochester Community Inclusive Rowing has acquired a 4x (quad), two 2x (doubles) the first ever adaptive 1x (single) for adaptive programming.
We will also be selling T- Shirts and holding a 500 meter under the lights sprint race for fundraising purposes on Friday October 2rd at the Genesee Waterways Center – so you can come row and have your entry fees go toward the boat purchase.
